This weekend a friend shared a book excerpt that resonated in my being. It says:

"Our primary purpose in being is to express life. Sometimes people may say that their purpose in life is to be happy, but:

Happiness is not a goal. It's a byproduct of living an expressed life.

Think about it. The more fully expressed the life, the greater the joy and happiness we experience. So when we talk about success, we are really talking about successful creative expression."
